About The Role
Qualifications and Experience:
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or above.
* Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of health and social care practices.
Job Scope And Responsibilities:
* Support the Registered Manager: Assist with day-to-day organisation, leadership, and management of the service.
* Training and Development: Monitor and support staff training needs, including inductions and mandatory training.
* Health and Safety: Maintain a safe work and home environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Person-Centered Services: Ensure services are tailored to individual needs, considering diversity and inclusion.
* Team Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise support workers, conducting performance appraisals and team meetings.
* IT System Management: Use IT systems for staff management, incident reporting, and quality assurance.
* External Collaboration: Work with external agencies to promote services and support referrals and placements.
* Continuous Improvement: Develop knowledge and practices for service improvement and self-development.
* Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop policies for health, safety, and security.
