We are seeking an experienced Stores Person to manage deliveries and ensure that equipment and stock are consistently available. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling goods inwards, maintaining stock control, and coordinating deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive, verify, and record deliveries in the stock control system.
2. Ensure parts are stored accurately and properly accounted for.
3. Communicate with suppliers to resolve any delivery or stock discrepancies.
4. Perform regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy.
5. Pick and prepare products for dispatch; arrange van deliveries or courier services as required.
6. Provide exceptional service, responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
7. Keep track of stock levels and notify management when items are running low.
8. Maintain a clean and organised store environment.
Skills and Experience:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
2. Experience in welding or engineering is a plus.
3. Previous experience working within a stores / warehouse / stock control role.
This is a permanent job opportunity, Monday - Friday.
