Job summary An exciting opportunity has arrived to join the domestic team at Victoria Infirmary, Northwich incorporating the new Cheshire & Merseyside Surgical Centre due to open in 2025. Being a Hospital domestic / porter can be a very demanding, fast paced role. You will be expected to clean all areas within the Hospital, including the new theatres, clinic rooms, waiting rooms and high risk areas to a very high standard. You will also assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's departments. We have various part time positions available - HOURS TO BE CONFIRMED LATER Main duties of the job To provide a professional cleaning service in public, patient and staff areas in compliance with NHS guidance for standards of cleanliness and in association with departmental/managers, housekeepers and supervisors, to ensure the delivery of a quality, patient focused service.You will also assist with the transfer of patients / deliveries between the hospital's various departments. You will need to be hard working, reliable and a great team player. Although the hours are predominately based at Victoria Infirmary incorporating the new Cheshire & Merseyside Surgical Centre, you will need to be flexible and able to travel at short notice between other sites belonging to the Trust to assist with the changing demands of the service.
