About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Computing Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated good secondary school in Macclesfield. This is a full-time position starting after February half term, offering a chance to inspire and educate students in a subject that is integral to the modern world.
As a Computing Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering an understanding of computer science and digital literacy while equipping students with essential 21st-century skills.
The pay for this role will be in line with your payscale, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons that align with the national curriculum, inspiring students to explore computer science, digital literacy, and ICT.
* Teach a range of topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, tailored to students’ needs and abilities.
* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons, ensuring all students are supported in achieving their full potential.
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback, helping to develop their knowledge and confidence in Computing.
* Contribute to the wider school community by supporting extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or technology projects.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and forward-thinking Computing curriculum.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, with a specialization in Computing, ICT, or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Computing at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
* A strong passion for technology and the ability to inspire students with its real-world applications.
* Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
