They are designing and delivering novel process system solutions for customers, with cutting-edge technology that delivers the most cost-effective carbon capture and hydrogen storage systems. Their ambition is to bring to the world these new technologies that meet the pressing climate challenges, and we will do this by recruiting individuals who are up for the challenge and want to make a difference.
This company is searching for a well-experienced process engineer, able to combine creativity and objectivity with solid first principles in process design to integrate our novel porous materials into a gas separation and storage solution. Ideally familiar with gas separation systems such as air purification, carbon capture, or hydrogen storage.
Key Skills and Experiences:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualifications;
2. At least 10 years’ process design and engineering experience; you will probably be a chartered engineer;
3. Specific experience in a field involving gas adsorption processes;
4. Demonstrable experience in process modelling and optimization, including gas adsorption modelling.
5. Practical experience in the development and delivery of capital projects, working with EPC partners;
6. A team player with strong customer focus, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
1. Development and design of swing adsorption processes;
2. Familiarity with any of the following software packages: Aspen, gPROMS, COMSOL, or similar modelling tools;
3. Development of experimental rigs, prototypes and pilots and scale-up to deploying full-scale systems.
