IT Project Manager / IT Business Analyst required by high growth travel firm.
Investing heavily in updating technology and business process to ensure IT drives business growth, you will work closely with 3rd party technology and development companies to deliver technology requirements.
Salary: To £50K plus pension, 25 days holidays, opportunity to purchase more
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire – Office Based 5 days a week

Your main role will be to ensure that business requirements are understood, documented, prioritised, and delivered to agreed schedules and budget by the responsible party. Responsible for solutions definition you will work closely with business users and developers to take the pain out of development changes that are needed. Managing all IT 3rd party suppliers, review and update business processes and identify areas for process and technology improvement.
It’s a small team so you will have to support aspects of the day-to-day IT function and be responsible for one IT Support person.
Opportunity to progress to IT Programme Manager/ IT Director in the future.
They require:
1. IT Business Analyst / Project Management experience essential, along with working on development, applications and infrastructure projects.
2. Programme Management exposure ideal but not essential.
3. Experience in mapping processes and solutions and communicating these clearly to internal and external stakeholders & ensuring they are adhered to and monitored.
4. Experience in managing third-party technology supplier relationships to ensure delivery as expected.
5. Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Strong analytical skills, the ability to follow procedures and willingness to enhance them.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Commercial & financial awareness.
9. Adaptable and flexible with a positive approach to work and passion for exceptional service delivery.
It would help to have:
1. Travel technology knowledge or experience within the Travel Market Industry.
2. Experience of project delivery with technical, CRM, document and content supplier companies.
3. Experience of Data Warehouse and MI tools.
