Harry at Amber Mace is working with a long-term client that are recruiting for a Registered Manager to oversee a small Learning Disability home in Dover with a well-established and reputable care provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate leader to drive high-quality care and compliance while making a real difference in the lives of residents.
About the Role:
• As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring the home operates effectively, meets regulatory standards, and provides outstanding care. Your role will include:
• Ensuring Compliance: Leading the home in line with CQC regulations, maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings, and implementing best practices.
• Leadership & Team Management: Recruiting, training, and developing staff to create a motivated and high-performing team.
• Quality & Safeguarding: Upholding high standards of care, ensuring person-centred support, and implementing safeguarding procedures.
• Budget & Financial Management: Managing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, and meeting financial targets while maintaining quality care.
• Care Planning & Risk Assessment: Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and personalised support for residents with learning disabilities.
• Family & Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with residents, families, external professionals, and local authorities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Previous Registered Manager experience in a Learning Disability or similar care setting.
• Strong CQC knowledge with a proven track record of compliance and positive inspection outcomes.
• Experience in managing staff, recruitment, and team development.
• Ability to oversee care plans and ensure person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure financial sustainability of the home.
