As a Trainee Advanced Practitioner (ACP) you are expected to work in conjunction with the 4pillars of Advanced Practice as outlined in the HEE Multi-professional Framework (2017): Clinical practice Leadership and Management Education Research This is a training post in which the practitioner will deliver, under the supervision of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) an advanced level of clinical practice within the speciality area. You will develop the knowledge and skill required to provide expert clinical management and care to patients with critical care needs within the ward environment. You will complete a clinical portfolio, providing evidence of the HEE capabilities for advanced clinical practice, complete the National Outreach Forum Enhanced and Advanced Capabilities in practice along with completing a recognised MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. This role is for a 24/7 service and includes day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. We have a dedicated Consultant Intensivist providing regular formal clinical supervision and education. You will be supported to complete the National Outreach Forum Enhanced and Advanced Practice Capabilities alongside the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice academic pathway. You will have protected time to develop your advanced practice portfolio within the 4 pillars of advanced practice.
