RAC have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Analytics Engineer to join our Insights team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from our Bradley Stoke office and 3 days working from home. As an Analytics Engineer, you will support the delivery of various technology solutions, utilising cloud-based technology including Snowflake and Azure DevOps, ensuring that the analysts within our Insights and Campaigns teams have the correct data to be able to carry out their role effectively. You will work closely with the Marketing teams such as retention, acquisition, and digital to support any new solution requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong background in data analysis within a Marketing team, ideally within a fast-paced commercial business, and have experience of working with Enterprise databases ideally in Snowflake or SQL. What you will do To work across a wide array of business areas to gather requirements. To provide impact assessment on proposed changes to existing solutions Estimating effort and duration to deliver components of the end-to-end solution in the most cost-effective and standard way Responsible for feeding into design and documentation of solutions Ensuring solution design is scalable and is designed with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) i.e. highly resilient and minimal manual intervention To develop custom solutions to meet business requirements To deliver high quality work in line with specifications and time estimates (/- 10%) Support End to End Testing of solution components (unit, system, performance, integration), and documenting outcomes Support user acceptance testing (UAT) Support the Incident Management process What you will need Experience of Enterprise Databases ideally in Snowflake or SQL Experience of data analysis & design to build efficient high-performance solutions Experience of marketing or customer management solutions Experience of building & supporting MI reporting solutions in Power BI The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure whilst been able to juggle multiple priorities.
