Job description: Job Title: Administrative Assistant Department: Hampshire Location: Winchester Contract Type: Permanent Reporting to: Kim White, Senior Client Service Executive Working arrangements: Hybrid The Role To provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the team and wider business to deliver an excellent client service. Demonstrates compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory framework. Outcomes of the Role Cover a range of administration tasks and ensure they are completed promptly andto a high standard. Range of possible tasks include, though is not limited to: -Opening clients accounts whilst adhering to AML regulations -Process and monitor account amendments for any changes of client information -Provide administration support for portfolio transfers in and out of Rathbones -Obtain and review CGT information -Internally transfer holdings between accounts -Process and monitor account closures Contribute to support staff meetings, suggesting improvements to proceduresand processes Respond promptly to telephone calls, take and pass on clear messages and project a positive image of the organisation Provide ad hoc administration support including reception cover as required including answering calls, welcoming guests, and preparing for meetings Facilitate, manage and file client correspondence and records in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy of data Knowledge, Skills and Experience Have experience working in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry Understanding of the regulatory environment in which we operate Understanding of the products and services Rathbone provide Be proactive in seeking opportunities to gain knowledge and understanding to aid ability to complete the role to a high standard Grades A-C at GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
