Would you like to join our friendly and supportive Visitor Experience Team as a Visitor Experience Team Member working across both elements of the Guiding and Welcoming team, providing visitors with the information they need to ensure they experience the very best of Chatsworth? You will be integral to the enjoyment of our visitors, bringing the experience of Chatsworth alive as you help inform visitors about Chatsworth, its history, it stories and the visitor attraction. You will create a warm and engaging welcome for our visitors, taking payments, processing bookings, promoting Gift Aid, selling guide books, and tours as well as answering customer queries. In this diverse role you will spend periods of time both on the visitor route, at all the attraction entry points and in the garden. To succeed in this role you must enjoy engaging with members of the public, and working as part of a team. You will provide an excellent customer service and be comfortable working outdoors during all weathers be adaptable to switch tasks at short notice. A current driver’s license would also be a bonus, as you will occasionally be asked to drive a buggy. We have a variety of shift pattern’s available: 5 days: Tuesday – Saturday (20 hours minimum) 4 days: Tuesday – Friday (16 hours minimum) 4 days: Wednesday – Saturday (16 hours minimum) 3 days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (12 hours minimum) 3 days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday (12 hours minimum) 3 days: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (12 hours minimum) These are a minimum number of hours over the days shown between the hours of 8am and 8pm, however please be advised that we would appreciate some flexibility with regard to working days, depending on the needs of the business as we progress through the season. Please ensure you clearly state within your application which shift pattern you are interested in. This is a fixed-term role ending at the close of season on 4th January 2026.
