he Governing Body of St. Anne’s C.E. (V.C.) Primary School, Brown Edge, is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to join our committed team.
St Anne’s C.E. (V.C.) Primary School is a one form entry school for children aged 4-11 years old. There are approximately 180 children in the school which is situated in the small village of Brown Edge on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent and the Staffordshire Moorlands.
We want someone with drive, commitment, energy and a willingness to put the children’s needs first to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated teacher to join our school, which was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (October 2019) and ‘Good’ in SIAMS (June 2023).
We are a welcoming, vibrant and successful school who is looking to appoint a teacher who is enthusiastic, creative and an inspirational classroom practitioner. We pride ourselves on supporting pupils to achieve their potential by providing a rich curriculum and exciting experiences.

This post has a start date of 1st September 2025 and is a fixed-term contract for one-year until 31.08.2026.
This role will be covering a combination of PPA and management time cover across 0.5 FTE. The working pattern can be agreed in consultation with the school and it’s needs. Dependent on the successful candidate’s experience and expertise, the classes being taught will either range from Reception to Year 4 or Year 1 to Year 6.
