To enable faster grid connections and even more innovative energy systems based on renewable energy, we are looking for a HV Subsea Cable Engineer to join our team. We are a team working alongside our global customers on some of the most significant and prestigious projects within connection of renewable energy to the grid.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Design high voltage subsea cables according to IEC & CIGRE standards.
* Conduct thermal and electrical designs for static and dynamic subsea cables.
* Collaborate with geophysical, technical, and environmental teams for cable routing.
* Lead Cable Burial Risk Assessment and Cable Burial Assessment Studies.
* Design sea cable landfall in cooperation with construction and marine teams.
* Develop concept designs and assess CAPEX/OPEX/LCOE.
* Compile Tender Document Packages for supply, installation, or combined projects.
* Participate in Tender Process and contract negotiations with Suppliers & Contractors.
* Coordinate interfaces between OSS and WTG foundations.
* Facilitate or contribute to HAZID/HAZOP workshops.
* Conduct design reviews, FAT, and SAT.

On top of that, you will have:
* Relevant experience in a similar role with a degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably a master's).
* Experience in designing and tendering high voltage systems.
* Knowledge of dynamic subsea cables is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Practical experience in HV cable installation is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a high voltage design team.
* Highly organized and capable of composing complex technical documentation.
* Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
