Field Service Engineer – Electrical Bias

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer – Electrical Bias to join a leading organisation specialising in advanced propulsion and power systems.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in PLC systems and/or working with electrical schematics, alongside expertise in commissioning, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge systems. You’ll support customers across marine and land-based sectors, ensuring their systems run smoothly.
▪️ Commission, service, and repair advanced propulsion and power systems.
Work with PLC systems and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve issues.
Provide on-call emergency support as part of a rota.
Deliver hands-on customer training and share knowledge with colleagues.
Travel regularly within the UK & ROI, with occasional overseas deployments.
▫️ Qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with PLC systems and electrical schematics is highly desirable.
Proficiency in diagnostics and programming (training provided for business IT systems).
Technical experience in propulsion/power systems (marine expertise preferred).
