This post provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to help us develop the Speech and Language Therapy offer working alongside the Lead Clinician, Clinical Locality Lead and Head of Speech and Language Therapy.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation.
Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload.
In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.

Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Experience of working with children, young people and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g.
complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern) Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle there will be a supervision element to the role so experience of supervision of therapy assistants and SaLT apprenticeships is desirable You will have the resources and time to implement your strategic vision for therapies as this role will be key to the development of the service.
