There is one full time post (37 hours per week) and one part-time post (29.8 hours per week) available, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday. Both are permanent.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated technician to join Inverclyde HSCP Primary Care Pharmacy Team and assist the senior technicians, pharmacy support workers and pharmacists take forward key prescribing initiatives. As a key member of the HSCP Primary Care Pharmacy Team you will work with Community Pharmacy colleagues, GPs, Care Homes and the primary care multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care. This role will involve delivery of the pharmacotherapy service within a Pharmacy Hub model as part of the GP contract and will provide an important function in supporting patients with their medicines
This post requires excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and IT skills along with the ability to influence and affect change. This is an opportunity to develop your career in Primary Care working with multi-disciplinary teams, particularly GP Practices, Community Pharmacies, Care Homes and across other care settings. You will be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with recent post qualification experience. Experience of working in Primary Care or as part of a multi-disciplinary team is desirable.
Minimum requirements
Pharmacy Technician, NVQ3 or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Equivalent Registrant with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
