Aon Peterborough welcomes your application for our Client Manager/Account Executive vacancy. The successful candidate will manage an established portfolio of large mid-market Advisory clients, nurturing and growing those relationships while supporting our wider team in securing new clients. We are seeking applicants with client management experience, having managed a portfolio of SME/mid-market clients in previous roles. As the key contact with our clients, you will deliver Aon’s depth of capabilities to meet their needs and evolving risks. You will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and managing the provision of service to clients, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources.

What the day will look like
The role is within our SME/mid-market commercial risk team, providing risk solutions to businesses across various sectors within the UK. Clients are looking for a relationship with their broker who can provide a tailored approach.
Clients typically require bespoke insurance programmes and associated risk management and transfer services. Besides being the insurance broker, the client manager, with help from the wider team, provides clients with claims service and advice on risk management across most industries, specializing in real estate, public sector, food and drink, retail, Health & Social Care, and wholesale.
Responsibilities include managing the service provided to clients, ensuring the highest level of service in line with agreed client service tools, identifying and introducing Aon’s products and services to meet clients’ needs, and building relationships with key decision-makers to grow revenue and profitability of your client portfolio.
Additionally, you will work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and comply with Aon UK Limited policies, participating in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
* ACII or equivalent.
* Proven experience in the insurance industry, with experience in client relationship management and core lines of commercial risks is essential.
* Experience managing large corporate insurance risks is desirable.
* Commercial understanding of business dynamics, market forces, and risks.
* Prior experience with sales, fee setting, negotiation, and influencing.
* Effective communicator and presenter.
* Client-focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in service provision.
