About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual, who is passionate about people, to join our UK&I HR Team on a 12-month fixed term basis. The successful person will work with all of our UK&I based businesses within Midwich Group to manage the full recruitment lifecycle including, briefing roles, successfully attracting talent, using LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively source candidates and screening the best candidates while providing market insight and wider support to the business to help fill the internal roles as quickly and successfully as possible.
What you will be doing in this role
* Manage the whole lifecycle of recruitment, including liaising with HRBP’s, managers, agencies and posting job adverts.
* Managing the Applicant Tracking System, shortlisting applications, screening candidates, arranging interviews and assessing suitability of candidates for roles.
* Support with Interviews as required and provide feedback on candidates.
* Utilise different platforms and websites such as LinkedIn to maximise the effectiveness of our online job adverts.
* Reviewing job adverts and job profiles as required adding value to maximise interest.
* Increasing traffic and interest in the business and live vacancies by raising our brand locally and in the wider sphere, increasing our online presence and updating our careers page.
* Proactively target passive candidates and collate target lists of companies and candidates.
* Work closely with HR Business Partners and Managers across the group to understand planned/budgeted heads and recruitment timelines to deliver.
* Understand business areas, roles, competition and market to make informed decisions on where to advertise role for best results.
* Feedback as necessary where recruitment isn’t as successful as planned and recommend strategies for improvement.
* Work with local 6th Forms and colleges across the group to increase brand profile.
* Attend job fairs, careers events and other suitable events to source potential candidates.
* Ensure any additional recruitment spend (agency/advertising) is minimal to the business.
* Ensure candidates have a right to work in UK and/or correct visa in place to take up employment with the Group.
* Support with IR35 regulations and process where required, alongside our UK&I Tax Manager and wider compliance team.
What you will bring to the role
* Experience of working in recruitment either from being an internal recruiter or through a recruitment agency.
* Working knowledge of an ATS, external job board management and a LinkedIn recruiter seat
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Research skills and ability to project manage.
* Confidentiality.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate confidently at all levels including Board Directors.
* Organised.
* Excellent time management skills.
