Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Construction Accounts Manager to join their existing team. Reporting to the FD this role willplay a crucial role in delivering high-end residential projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Responsible for managing the accounts of all construction projects.
* Support the construction team with all areas of project accounting.
* Conduct reconciliation of provisional costs for each project.
* Prepare project reports from Sage and labour costs for Estimator analysis and Project Manager valuations.
* Manage the construction sales ledger.
* Assist the construction team with purchasing and supplier accounts for construction projects.
* Provide the ‘core’ accounts team with reconciled information.
* Perform ad hoc finance reporting duties as necessary, including covering for the ‘core’ accounts team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work to deadlines.
* Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
