Morgan Hunt have partnered with an established charity who are seeking to recruit a Learner and Employer Engagement Officer in Manchester. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working. The salary for this role is paying up to £26,000. The primary function of this role is to support post-16 learners studying Employability courses into work placements by engaging with employers to source suitable opportunities matching their studies.
The Learner and Employer Engagement Officer will be responsible for:
1. Engaging with local employers across Manchester (both new and existing) to source suitable work experience opportunities.
2. Supporting learners into work experience placements by offering skills such as CV workshops and interview techniques.
3. Collaborating with Tutors to ensure appropriate work experience placements are sourced and providing ongoing support during work placements.
4. Keeping records maintained and up to date to ensure funding eligibility.
The Learner and Employer Engagement Officer will need to hold:
1. A Level 3 vocational qualification within a related subject.
2. Ideally a Health and Safety certificate.
3. Experience of supporting post-16 learners or adults into work opportunities.
4. Knowledge of the local labour market.
In return, the Learner and Employer Engagement Officer will receive:
1. An annual salary of up to £26,000.
