The Role
The Warehouse Team are the central parts distribution centre for the company and are responsible for supplying parts to the Hubs, Field Service Engineers and direct to customer sites. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the parts operation for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all deliveries are accurately booked into and out of warehouse stock every day
Participate in stock takes
Process engineers returns and sales orders from Bybox daily
Support with the booking in of deliveries
Support with the shipment of parts to engineers and customers
Update Service Smart Lite (Central Database System) in real time
Use the fork lift as required
Assist with the cleanliness of the warehouse and yard
Dispatching Sales Orders
Occasionally open and secure site at the end of the working day
Processing of delivery notes, parts requests and sales orders
Arranging courier shipments and outbound post
Occasionally assist drivers to unload/load vehicles
Report key statistics to line manager in line with SLA
Skills and Qualifications
Ideally Forklift Experience (counter-balance)
IT Literate
Educated to GCSE level (Maths and English Grade C equivalent or above) or NVQ Level 2/3 or City and Guilds in Warehouse and Storage
