Renewable Support Engineer Job Description
Our client has a team of highly experienced and professional engineers who have an average of 15 years experience in the renewable sector each. They specialise in providing tailored O&M and servicing solutions for all wind turbine owners.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
What is the Role?
You will be working with a team of Technicians who take pride in the operation and maintenance of the company’s fleet. Utilising information from the operations team, you will perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification, and major component exchanges on their customers' fleet of turbines on a daily basis.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Authorised Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in an equivalent field or demonstrable experience with technical support within a wind turbine environment.
2. Support tech team with fault finding and work instructions for preventative and reactive maintenance.
3. Good knowledge of wind technical drawings and experience with OEM manuals and navigation.
4. Advanced knowledge of WTSR.
5. Good working knowledge of corrective repair and major corrective repair.
6. Ability to communicate on the telephone regarding complex wind technical issues.
7. Experience working on V47/V52/V66/V80/G52/G8X turbines, especially V80 and V66.
8. Good knowledge of special tooling for specific tasks.
9. Able to work at heights.
10. High degree of flexibility; office-based but some site work is needed.
