Process Technicians (Temporary) We are currently looking for 2 x Process Technicians to play a pivotal role in advancing the research and development of Purafloc, a groundbreaking liquid-activated carbon created by Clinty Chemicals. This position will implement various protocols to evaluate the products effectiveness in treating emerging micropollutants of concern within the water industry. It presents a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge testing on an innovative solution with the potential for global impact. This is a temporary contract commencing mid March 2025 for 6 months. Key responsibilities: Developing and implementing testing protocols for water treatment clients Performing jar tests to assess the effectiveness of theoretical clarification and flotation secondary treatment processes Preparing samples for analysis by internal and external laboratories Recording results and generating timely reports for management as needed Providing internal support for new and ongoing pilot studies within the broader Clinty group. Essential Criteria: Scientific degree (or currently working towards) Experience working within a laboratory environment Good time management and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft packages. The post will be based at our engineering facility in Dargan Road, Belfast.
