We are now looking for a Stores Person (Part Time 22.5 hours per week) to join our team working for a better future. The preferred location for the position is in Montrose, UK.
What you will be doing
* To check deliveries on receipt and complete goods receipt in SAP, updating BOMS in accordance with procedures.
* Assist with ensuring adequate stock of consumables / stock items.
* Assist with identifying consumables on bill of materials.
* Issuing materials to workshop as applicable from bill of materials.
* Accurately pack customer orders, booking out in SAP.
* Accurately creating customer delivery notes.
* Assist with ensuring MRP is kept up to date.
* To create non-direct orders in company platform.
* To create orders for stock items and expedite orders for delivery.
* To assist with ensuring calibration of test equipment.
* Create material numbers in master data as required.
* To assist with maintaining approved vendors in accordance with company procedures.
* To maintain workflow, ensuring blocked billing items are cleared correctly.
* Maintain files and documentation electronically using the correct naming convention.
* To liaise and maintain good relations with customers, suppliers and all Wärtsilä personnel.
* Carry out other administration tasks, and offer assistance to other staff as may be required to cover holidays and days off.
* Any “ad-hoc” duties that may be required in order to carry out the requirements of the job.
