Salary: Up to £26,000
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Remote or hybrid approach with occasional travel to Bromsgrove Head Office

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Internal Comms Exec to join our growing team.

Polaris is one of the UK's leading children's services providers with services covering independent fostering and adoption, residential services, education, leaving care and a range of bespoke children's services contracts.
Who we're looking for
We're on the hunt for an Internal Communications Executive to assist in delivering effective communications and engaging campaigns across our community. You'll work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to plan, publish and maintain content covering a variety of topics.
You will also assist in managing our internal communications platform, The Exchange. Liaising with our community's Exchange Champions, you will encourage high-quality, self-generated content that meets the organisational objectives and standards.
As part of the Marketing team, you'll work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver a wide range of creative assets across the community.
Finally, you will assist the Internal Communications Manager to deliver a number of large scale, internal events such as 'The Big Sing Off' and our annual 'Senior Leadership Conference'.
We're big on getting the work/life balance right and a number of the marketing team already work remotely. We're open to this role being remote too, however, travel to our Bromsgrove office will be required along with occasionally visiting some of our regional offices.
Role Details
The Internal Comms Exec will work closely with the Internal Comms Manager to establish and maintain effective communications from the business to our colleagues and foster families.
You will communicate with our people through a variety of channels and assist in managing our internal comms platform, The Exchange. The Internal Comms Exec will also support the Internal Comms Manager, and other internal stakeholders to deliver a range of in-person and online events.
You also will assist in developing a comprehensive communications strategy and help to drive the Internal Comms function forward.
You will report directly to the Internal Communications Manager but will have support form the whole of the Marketing team.
The chosen candidate will have the following:
Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a marketing or communications environment
GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent in Maths and English
An excellent level of written and verbal English
Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills
Experience in producing campaign performance reports
Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideasOrganisational skills of Internal Comms Executive
Strong organisational skills and communication skills a must.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Capacity to prioritise and work on multiple projects
Ability to work independently and flexibly
Attention to detail and accuracy
