Role Overview
The Senior Financial Operations Manager will have oversight of the UK Steam Share Service Centre for Operational Finance, providing services to a number of companies across the UK Steam Thermal Solutions business and Spirax Group plc. The post-holder will be responsible for the performance and controls in: Accounts Payable, Treasury & Expenses Management, Fixed Asset and Payroll operational reporting.
Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On:
* Developing, setting and monitoring operational performance achievement against KPIs
* Working with team members to ensure successful achievement of objectives and developing the team’s overall capabilities and expertise
* Oversight of each team and embedding a robust and efficient control environment that ensures relevant policies are adhered to
* Ensuring bank mandate holders, bank delegated approvers and authorisation limits are held in line with approved delegation of authority
* Oversight of forecasting of Fixed Asset and depreciation
* Coordination of Fixed Asset verification process
* Ownership of the Travel and Expenses policy and oversight of the FCM process
Your Previous Experience Is Likely To Include:
* Significant post-qualification experience in a finance department of a commercial organisation
* Working within a managerial position in a Shared Service Centre or equivalent
* People management and financial leadership
