Hillcroft Surgery Supplies Ltd is a family-owned business in Yeovil that supplies medical consumables, equipment and pharmaceuticals to GP surgeries and health centres across the UK. We are looking for a multi-talented, creative individual to head up our Digital, Design & Marketing Department. The department looks after all campaigns, marketing, print and digital design, and website management for the company. A large part of the role will be overseeing the management and development of our website in order to add new features and ensure continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the staff in the department (three people), including training, giving feedback and checking progress
2. Creating and executing marketing campaigns, including national exhibitions
3. Managing departmental budgets and making decisions about spending
4. Supporting creation of assets and designs
5. Troubleshooting customer issues with our website
6. Website research, discovery and idea generation for future development
7. Managing feedback on website features and prioritising future development
8. Creating designs for website features and briefing developers
9. Presenting website features and other campaigns, both internally and externally
10. Maintaining and developing a cohesive brand experience for our customers
11. Working closely with other departments to ensure their marketing and design needs are met
12. Proactively suggesting campaigns and features that will support company goals
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a creative problem solver who is keen to get stuck into a challenge. Our ideal candidate will likely have experience in a range of areas across design, marketing, and website development, and will be looking to bring this experience together in a management level role.
Requirements - essential:
· Proven experience in a creative role, ideally marketing or design
· Experience or understanding of UX and UI design
· Technically minded and able to understand complex problems
· Very strong technical abilities, with experience of learning new software
· Able to juggle multiple projects with changing deadlines
· Great communicator who can confidently present ideas and take on feedback
· A team player, willing to do what needs to be done to get projects to completion
· Excellent attention to detail
Requirements – desirable
· Previous management experience
· Ability in or awareness of coding languages such as PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS
· Understanding of the print process and how to produce print ready artwork
· Knowledge or experience of primary care

Salary: in the range of £35k - £40k plus depending on experience
