We now have the opportunity for a Sales Operations Administrator to join our Inside Sales team at ADI Global Distribution. This is a hybrid working role with 2 days working from home and 3 days at our EMEA Head Office in Chadderton, Oldham.
The Sales Operations Administrator is responsible for providing key administrative support to the Sales team and working within Sales Operations while ensuring a first-class customer experience. Sales Operations is about supporting and enabling frontline sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively.
The role will suit an individual who has a bias toward action, exceptional communication skills, and knows how to balance getting the details right while working in a fast-paced environment. The role will include working with people across the business to play an important role across the sales pipeline from prospect to order execution and delivery.
Key responsibilities
1. Process customer orders and quotes in SAP to specific SLA’s and customer requirements.
2. Ensure ‘right first time, every time’ wherever possible against each order/quote/process.
3. Field telephone calls as initial line support.
4. Support first line e-commerce queries.
5. Liaise with relevant departments to complete customer orders, queries, and complaints.
6. Maintain and update customer records.
7. Support commercial sales in dealing with customer support to close and grow sales.
8. Direct customers to the correct teams for technical support and account queries.
9. Manage sales transactions as per customers’ requirements.
10. Up-sell through attachments and complete solution orders.
11. Investigate and resolve issues, complaints, and invoice queries.
12. Effectively communicate with both external and internal customers.
13. Provide an exceptional customer experience against all customer transactions.
14. Participate in ad hoc projects to further enhance the customer experience.
