The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Brokerage Team for a Contract & Review Liaison Officer. The Brokerage Team is a highly successful and fast-paced team which undertakes the purchasing and recording of care services. The team provides an effective contract monitoring function for residential care and home care. This post will focus on the sourcing and contracting of domiciliary care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with external organisations and partners to build rapport and develop and maintain working relationships.
* Collating, analysing and recording information on IT systems.
* Effective communication with other teams and members of the Brokerage Team.
* Problem solving with the ability to plan and prioritise.
The Candidate:
You will:
* Be a self-motivated individual.
* Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
* Have a flexible approach focused on effective service delivery.
* Be an experienced computer user (both Microsoft Office Packages and database systems).
* Have the ability to develop and maintain strong and positive working relationships.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Possess a practical and logical approach to problem solving.
* Have a positive attitude to change.
The team can facilitate a blended working (home and office) approach with some degree of flexibility around start and finish times. Some weekend work may be required to provide a 7-day service; however, at present, this is infrequent and done on a rota basis.
