You will be part of the pharmacy team and work with staff within the pharmacy department and across the trust to enable the objectives of the Trust to be achieved. To contribute to the Trusts compliance with medicines safety and optimisation and RPS standards and the Clinical Governance and Risk Management agendas To contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services provided to a range of clinical specialities. To ensure that appropriate levels of service are provided in accordance with statutory requirements and professional standards as described in Medicines, Ethics and Practice issue by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. To assist the relevant managers and colleagues in the development and delivery of pharmacy services which reflect the needs of the Trust and our patients and commissioners. To undertake projects that will improve the safety and clinical effectiveness of patient care and the patient experience and contribute to effective and appropriate drugs budget management within a range of clinical specialities. To support the Divisional teams and Clinical Service Units in delivering a consistently high-quality patient care and pharmacy service across a variety of different specialties, on a rotational basis (normally 12 months).
