TGP Cymru is a Wales based charity working with children, young people and families and has been providing services across Wales for over 20 years.
We are currently recruiting a part time Engagement Worker in Cardiff and Swansea to be part of the Migrant Help funded UK Youth Welfare Officer Project. The worker will provide a stable point of contact for young people seeking asylum aged 18 -25 living in Home Office Initial Accommodation, including those given an age of 18+ but who claim to be children, supporting them to access social and emotional support, and services and to understand systems and processes. You will be joining a team working on an exciting range of projects providing a holistic approach to giving young asylum seekers and refugees the support, knowledge and skills they need to build resilience and thrive.
For an informal discussion, please contact Lee Evans, Team Manager, Refugee and Asylum Programme on 07957 472070.
Applications are welcome from all sections of the community regardless of age, disability or racial origin. TGP Cymru welcomes applications from Welsh speakers. Application pack from www.tgpcymru.org.uk, email: hradmin@tgpcymru.org.uk.
(We can only accept CVs with a completed application form).
