*This is a remote job covering Northern Counties in the UK. Therefore we would accept candidates who live within any of these Counties.
1. Developing and implementing strategies to gain specification of the RWC brand of products with consultants and specifiers.
2. Create a project tracking document with a pipeline of the top 100 projects from planning through to contractor awarded stages.
3. Responsible for the creation of specifications with main contractors, developers, mechanical D&B contractors and local authorities. Develop relationships with key stakeholders in those organisations to secure preferred supplier agreements.
4. Deliver CPD’s to Consultants & support sales team colleagues with CPD’s and product training.
5. Developing and sustaining long term business relationships. Acting as a brand ambassador.
6. Identify & create new specification opportunities for the entire range of RWC Products and drive new customer specifications.
7. Communicate product specifications with the sales team to ensure early engagement on projects and drive a top-down, bottom-up sales strategy.
8. Monitor and analyse competitor products, activity and specifications feedback intel where appropriate.
9. Provide technical support to customers/specifiers regarding product specification and offering technical support at design stage.
10. Maintain the project pipeline and consultant/specifier activity on the company’s CRM (SFDC) up to date. Manage projects from inception, including updating meeting notes, strategies to secure the specification and forecasting expected project start dates. Upload projects to ensure uniformity across our project tracking and CRM system.
11. Work closely with the technical teams to ensure efficient delivery of customer requirements from a design perspective.
12. Pass any relevant information to colleagues to pick up with project specifications via their sub-contractors.
13. Systematically work through the Consultant register targeting existing & new consultants.
14. Maximise specification opportunities, identifying and selecting relevant projects to follow up, using Barbour ABI, trade publications and relevant leads including BIM store and event leads.
15. Where required, have an active role in the SoPHE/CiBSE (Society of Public Health Engineers) society and attend all industry events.
16. Where required, work with SoPHE/CiBSE affiliated colleges to train level 1-3 college students and deliver CPD’s.
17. Attend Specifi and other industry networking events to gain contacts and promote the RWC brand.
18. Retain knowledge about relevant building regulations related to the construction industry and provide feedback intel to the business, capturing it within the company CRM.
19. Work towards specification targets in line with company objectives and achieve performance KPI’s as set by the line manager.
20. Host customers at events and deliver accredited training, including the company’s CPD seminars. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
