The role
Part of a team of consultants and project managers, as a Senior Implementation Consultant, you are responsible for people leading consultants and graduates ensuring their continued growth and development as they complete projects. You are also responsible for delivering and configuring software solutions for Heywood’s customers. Providing UAT support, writing ad-hoc scripts, building bespoke interfaces, ensuring processes and documentation are up to date, and using a variety of technical skills to deliver strong customer service.
Your main focus areas will be:
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet customer deadlines
* People managing consultants and graduate consultants
* Advanced SQL coding skills (any version, but we use Oracle)
* Coding in at least one dynamic scripting language, such as Python, Node JS, PowerShell or Apache Groovy
* Business intelligence reporting using tools like BIRT, Tableau or Power BI
* Knowledge of REST APIs and standard HTTP methods
* Data migration; either using in-house tools or scripting migrations
* Using sFTP servers to transfer data extracts for migrations
* 3rd line support, testing, and customer training
* Presenting at to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. user groups, webinars, and testing parties)
