We are currently looking for an empathetic Psychologist (Neuro/Adult) to join our client in their intervention service based in Chester. This is a permanent position available immediately. The post holder will be expected to provide specialist clinical input and support to both the Memory Assessment Service MDT and the Older People's Community Mental Health Team (OPMH CMHT). The role is varied, interesting and involves delivering tailored individual and group psychological therapies to an Older Adult clinical population, undertaking specialist neuro psychological assessment and formulation, and pre- and post-diagnostic support and intervention. As well as providing direct clinical input to clients, this will also involve working through others by training, supervision, and formulation work. The post holder will be expected to integrate well and form good working relationships with their multi-disciplinary (MDT) colleagues, providing specialist psychological knowledge, expertise and consultation to the team. It will also involve attendance at clinical MDT meetings, team referral meetings and service-wide business meetings. Enthusiasm and commitment are essential. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. Proven experience at Band 7 level within mental health settings. Strong clinical skills with a focus on delivering advanced psychological assessments and interventions in CAMHS.
