Job Title: Digital Content Manager - (Footpatrol & HIP)
Location: Bury Head Office (BL9 8RR)
Working rota: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 40 hours
Overview:
The purpose of this role is to support the size? Group content Lead in coordinating and delivering the data first content strategy and optimising the sites and channels to deliver strong sales and profit growth. Also responsible for supporting, managing and empowering the content executives.
Responsibilities:
1. Working with the content Lead to ensure that a clear trading plan is coordinated and executed for the financial year.
2. Training and motivating direct reports ensuring clear priorities amongst the teams.
3. Focus on outlining action to support digital KPIs including conversion, site speed, reviews etc.
4. Working closely with the merchandising, content and marketing teams to ensure that the marketing calendar is aligned with key trading period and campaign activity.
5. Constantly analysing key website metrics including visitor numbers, get to product, add to basket, checkout completion and conversion rates.
6. Working with content Lead to implement best in class content customer acquisition techniques for the market, to ensure that high volumes of new customers are acquired profitably by the business through all appropriate digital marketing channels.
7. Working with the Retail and Marketing teams to ensure that all campaigns are aligned and digital deliverables are outlined and appropriate for each channel.
8. Regularly reviewing, evaluating and benchmarking size? content proposition.
9. Up to date with developments within the department and timelines are kept.
10. Support delivery of key projects, making sure to escalate any process issues or blockers for the team.
11. As part of the content management team setting a great example to all colleagues of the business.
Skills and Experience
1. 3+ years Proven experience in an Ecommerce optimisation position.
2. Shopify experience preferred.
3. Experience managing a team.
4. Experience using Google Analytics.
5. Experience using Content square.
6. CRO testing experience.
7. Analytical skills are essential.
8. Strong attention to detail.
9. Able to influence and manage wider departments.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. The ability to work as part of a small team in a fast moving environment.
