A client based in Telford within the SME market specialising in finance management are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller on a 9 month contract covering maternity leave.

What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?
1. Accounts Payable & Receivable, Sales & Purchase Ledger
2. Reconciling customer & supplier accounts
3. Processing Direct Debit mandates
4. Credit Control, reviewing customer accounts regularly
5. Respond to internal and external queries & enquiries
6. Working closely with the Finance team
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?
1. Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
3. System experience using Xero, Excel & Microsoft packages
4. Strong analytical skills and problem solving
