Procurement Analyst
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Are you a results-driven procurement professional with a passion for optimising supplier relationships and ensuring efficient procurement processes? We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team at a leading company in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reporting & Analysis: Provide key procurement reporting and ensure data integrity.
2. Contract Management: Administer contracts via SRM/SAP, managing signatures, and training users.
3. Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensure optimal performance, and negotiate commercial terms.
4. Sourcing & Benchmarking: Manage sourcing processes for specialty products and benchmark suppliers on cost and service.
5. Data & Forecasting: Ensure accurate data input, update price forecasts, and manage raw material supply.
6. Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, product managers) and external suppliers to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions.
What We Need From You:
1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, CIPS, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 2 years in procurement operations, with a good understanding of strategic procurement processes and supply chain management.
Skills:
1. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
2. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
3. Proficiency in SAP and experience with contract management.
4. Strong communication and collaborative mindset to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
