As part of an ever-expanding technical function, this client has identified the need for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be responsible for the control and delivery of IT programmes of work as part of the group company's continuous improvement plan. Responsibilities include stakeholder liaison, pre-business case consultation, design, solution analysis, cross-functional development, and systems integration projects.
The TDM/IPM will be responsible for the delivery of the high-level business case, project leadership, management, quality, and timely delivery of the project. This role will direct team members from internal and external sources assigned to a project.
Specific Requirements:
1. Co-ordination of the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
2. Third party supplier delivery of application remediation and migration.
3. Co-ordination and control of third-party supplier delivery of WAN, LAN, and telephony platforms.
4. Management of third-party hosted solutions.
5. Desktop design and delivery as part of any location change.
6. Integration of services across pan-European group businesses.
Solution Development and Delivery:
1. Assist the Design and Delivery Manager in providing technical direction for delivery and integration of major technical projects from definition phase through implementation to final delivery into the production environment.
2. Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve delivery of new services to customers.
3. Recognize system deficiencies during the delivery process and liaise with technical SMEs to implement effective solutions.
Technical Effort Management:
1. Create and execute design and delivery plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
2. Ensure that responsible project resources are informed of the status of delivery efforts, directing activities between technical, business staff, and business change project management.
3. Ensure technical teams contribute to our process and standards library, specifically the delivery of IT RFCs, production of solution run books, updating of MSLs/MALs, and production of the solution's Technical Architecture Documentation (TAD).
4. Own the delivery lifecycle and manage technical risks throughout the project.
5. Communicate and enforce standards.
6. Perform design reviews and mentor members of the virtual team.
7. Manage technical resources within budget and project schedule.
8. Consistently deliver high-quality services to customers.

2. Delivered complex and multi-work stream IT technical projects.
3. Experience working at the group level.

Qualifications:
1. Higher Education qualification in IT/Management or work-based experience.
2. Ideally holds a Project delivery qualification (Prince2).
