A client of ours in the Coggeshall (Little Tey) area is recruiting an Internal Sales & Key Account Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying between £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the Sales Office Team Leader, your key duties in this Internal Sales & Key Account Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
* Answering incoming calls to the Sales Office.
* Proactive calls out to existing customers, upselling and cross-selling.
* Progress sales orders, answering stock enquiries, delivery queries, and issue resolution.
* Ensuring sufficient stock is available at the stock locations to fulfil orders and meet customers' expectations.
* Arranging haulage in line with requirements.
* Report handling for any shortages, unexpected delays, or lead-time issues.
* Ensure customer complaints and issues are investigated and resolved satisfactorily.
* Support the Regional Sales Directors in the planning and management of key accounts.
* Work with the Directors and clients to ensure customer deadlines are met.
* Continually evaluate and review sales performance, processes, and procedures; recommend and manage any agreed improvements and monitor outcomes.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
* Strong working knowledge of Excel.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience within a similar role.
* Experience of dealing with buying groups or national accounts would be advantageous.
* Highly organised.
* Experience within the Building and Construction industry desirable.
