Based within the Medical Imaging Appointments Office, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in the timely delivery of MRI examinations to our patients. Working Hours are Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:00. The successful candidate will be required to join a rota to offer support on a Saturday morning 09:00-12:00 on a ad hoc basis as & when required. Main duties of the job ROLE OVERVIEW To be responsible for providing a service for the scheduling of Radiology appointments ensuring compliance with Trust & Directorate Guidelines / Protocols. To communication with patients, consultants and staff at all levels and possess the ability to empathise with patients, relatives, etc. regarding procedure & appointments. Formulate and type letters to GPs and Consultants regarding examination requests as and when required. Planning Taking responsibility for closing, blocking or rescheduling lists or specific appointment times in order to maintain session templates.
