Electrical Improver/Electrician for Renewables – Overview
We are currently working with a renewable energy company based in Portsmouth area who are looking for an Electrical Improver or Electrician to join the team who would be interested in training up on Heat Pumps & Solar. The company work in domestic premises throughout Hampshire area installing boilers & renewable energy systems such as Heat Pumps, Solar, Insulation and Ventilation.
They have been operating since 2007 and have grown to become one of the largest installers of Heat Pumps and Solar in the South East of England. A lot of their work is completed under the government ECO schemes such as HUG, RHI, Warm Homes Scheme etc, they have installed 25% of all measures in the South East and are at the start of a massive period of growth.
You will come in as an Electrician, learning how to wire up, test and commission heat pump installations (mostly ASHP) in domestic properties. They will put you on various manufacturer courses for Heat Pump Controls as well as ongoing training. They also currently install a lot of Solar & Battery Systems but mostly use 3rd party contractors for this. They are hoping to train you up in house and build their own solar team in order to install systems themselves directly. They would train you up on Solar as well.
This is a mobile role, mostly travelling throughout Hampshire area, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.

* 18th Edition
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
* 2391 (advantageous but not essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence

* Salary of £35,000 - £40,000
