As a B1 / B2 Engineer, you will:
1. Carry out allocated maintenance tasks in a safe and secure manner, certifying such tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
2. Supervise small teams to achieve maintenance tasks.
Day to day responsibilities include:
1. Efficiently carrying out maintenance tasks and leading teams to deliver the highest maintenance, safety, and reliability standards.
2. Acting as the focal point of communication between the team, the AMS/AMM in Technical Control, and third-party interests to support efficient and timely maintenance.
3. Ensuring accurate certification of tasks and supervising third-party suppliers.
4. Demonstrating clear leadership and understanding of efficient working practices.
5. Engaging meaningfully with people to ensure the team is appropriately supervised.
6. Controlling costs effectively and supporting revenue generation.
7. Driving compliance with Engineering safety.
About you
To apply for this role, you will need demonstrable supervisory skills with experience in a certifying engineer capacity, plus a CAA B2 license or B1 License with company approvals on one or more of the following aircraft types: A330 (RR Trent), A350 (RR Trent), B787 (RR Trent).
You should have a proactive attitude, sound planning abilities, excellent communication skills, and strong team working abilities, including leading a small team. You will enjoy inspiring confidence in others, especially when tackling problems and issues, and be willing to show a degree of flexibility when required.
A full, valid UK driving licence is also essential.
