Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 6)
Location: Cambridge
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Friday – No Nights
Salary: £33,706 – £40,588 p/a + Shift Allowances

Role Overview of the Senior Theatre Nurse:
The hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, as a Theatre Practitioner/Nurse you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload – assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Caring for patients undergoing procedures
2. Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
3. Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
4. Acting as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities
Requirements for the Theatre Nurse:
5. HCPC/ODP or NMC registered Nurse
6. At least 2 years Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
7. You will be working on rotation in different specialities, flexibility is required
