We are now looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Facilities Operative within our Facilities team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will be working 10 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, rotating weekly from 06:00-16:45. Main responsibilities: Carry out PPMs to set standards and update appropriate records Carry out minor mechanical, electrical (where qualified) and plumbing works Conduct unplanned maintenance tasks as and when requested by management team Inspect and troubleshoot equipment Check functionality of safety systems Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments) About You Desired Skills and Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities Good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing works, preferably within a facilities background Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline e.g plumbing, joinery or carpentry IT literate with excellent communication skills Pro-active attitude About The Company Wren Kitchens are not only passionate about kitchens, we are passionate about our people We have achieved incredible milestones over the years; opening over 100 showrooms, launching in the USA, and winning multiple awards including the UK’s Number 1 place to work This is thanks to our team, the Wren family, who have inspired us to push limits and make a difference.
