1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant Special school Year 7 student Complex Needs January start ideally I'm working on behalf of a brilliant special school in the Devizes area that are looking for a 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join the school from January. The school looks after a range of special needs & disabilities but this role is specifically working with one student in year 7. The school are well established int he area and I can say first hand from candidates we've placed in the school over the years that you will be well supported throughout - whether that's from SLT or other TA's at the school. The role This role is working in a 1-1 capacity with a girl in year 7 that has complex learning difficulties. The student is absolutely lovely, very happy personality but can occasionally exhibit very challenging behaviour. You will be expected to be with the student throughout the day, supporting inside and outside of the classroom. The opportunity to make a genuine difference in this students life is huge and should be hopefully be very rewarding Experience with SLD is preferred.
