About the role
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Team, specializing as the lead technical expert in Property Stamp Taxes (including SDLT, LTT, ATED, and to a lesser extent, LBTT). Candidates with a specific focus within real estate, such as VAT or Capital Taxes, are encouraged to apply.
Most Property Tax specialists have experience advising on broader tax areas like VAT, Real Estate, or Capital Taxes, as part of a wider tax team. Our client base predominantly includes land and property sector clients, and your work will mainly involve these projects.
Working with a diverse range of clients—from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to expanding corporates—you will engage in various interesting and challenging tax advisory projects that benefit your clients.
You will enjoy coaching and mentoring junior team members, with a focus on developing them into accomplished tax advisors. Additionally, you will support our business development efforts as we expand within the Midlands market.
With support from our Tax Partners, you will have opportunities to further develop your skills and knowledge to progress towards a Tax Director role.
This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working—whether from the office, home, or a client site—to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering excellent client service.
