Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work at one of our catering outlets at the University of York. You will work both front and back of house and provide a friendly and efficient service to our staff, students and visitors.
You will prepare and cook light snacks and plated meals in accordance with menu guidelines and serve meals and beverages, as well as carrying out cleaning duties. You will help maintain the high standards of catering, hygiene, and health & safety that we currently achieve.
Previous experience in a similar role is desired. However, should you have an interest in the hospitality sector and food preparation, then full training will be provided.
The salary is £23,691.69 per annum (£12.28 per hour).
The hours of work are 37 hours per week. Working 5 days over 7 on a 3 week rolling rota.
