In a mainly classroom based role, you will work with colleagues to support an individual in their core learning including: reading, writing, and mathematics. You will also provide support in the playground encouraging the children's development of positive social friendships and play skills. We are looking for a Breakfast Club Assistant, who will actively and enthusiastically assist with the running of the Breakfast Club. Your responsibilities will include: Providing a high-quality level of activities whilst offering appropriate stimulation and support to the children Preparing, serving and tidying away at the end of the meal Ensuring that the club is a safe environment for children; all equipment is safe to use and very high standards of hygiene are consistently maintained To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, and a calm, positive and flexible approach.
