Service Manager/Workshop Control Support

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager/Workshop Control Support at our client's Southampton location.
Working within their service team in this fast-paced, busy depot, you will be a key member at the heart of their whole operation. This is a very hands-on role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the service department duties, including:
1. Assisting or covering workshop control for holiday/absence.
2. Cultivating a successful business sales culture focused on customer service excellence, customer retention, and new business for both Workshop and Parts.
3. Operating to achieve a very high KPI standard, including MOT pass rates, Renault 24 breakdown results, and Rex CSS reports, while maintaining dealer standards and audits at all times.
4. Fully integrating yourself into their systems and processes to gain a broad understanding of jobs card creation, customer updates, retail costing, workshop control, and parts processes.
5. Managing the day-to-day workshop activities to ensure productivity, stock control, and quality performance measures are met.
6. Increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability by managing and engaging the team's productivity and financial target attainments.
7. Ensuring robust group standardized policies are carried out and adhered to by all staff.
8. Identifying and implementing training needs for all staff, including staff recruitment.

This role would suit an experienced automotive manager/workshop controller who has worked in a similar role. Essential attributes include:

Salary Range: Dependent on experience, including KPI Bonus.
Basic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch. Every third Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Holiday: 30 days including bank holidays, increasing with time served.
