As an HR Business Partner at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill. £50K plus car / car allowance, 10% bonus scheme, BUPA and Pension What will I be doing? You will be managing a range of HR issues across the full life cycle of an employee. Your region will include roughly 300 employees spread across our business units in the Birmingham area, a contract in West London and one of our facilities in the Suffolk area, so you will need to be comfortable with a medium degree of travelling. Multi-tasking and the ability to prioritise will also be essential to succeed in this role. Working with the location managers you will be helping them to resolve various conduct related issues, also there will be a lot of absence management cases to manage. Re organisations and TUPE transfers will also be part of your remit, so we are looking for some with a strong background in employee relations. There will also be some Trade Union related issues which can become complex. A key element to this role will be to support your managers with all their people related issues, and you will need to be comfortable with spreadsheets and data. Your influencing skills and communications skills will need to be strong as will your knowledge of HR best practice and employment law. What are the requirements? CIPD level 5 qualification or appropriate degree/higher qualification Demonstrative experience in providing generalist support to a business Has worked in a multi site business Has led employee relations related processes (e.g. disciplinary meetings, appeals, grievances) Demonstrable experience in managing generalist HR function including personnel Multi organization / HR department experience Experience of building and managing relationships with more senior staff within the organisation An experienced project manager/leader Who we are SUEZ recycling and recovery UK is a forward-thinking company recognised as one of the top places in the UK to work.
